The Training Pilot Program commenced in 2023 for the purpose of providing trainees (beginners into the building construction industry) with the basic skills, knowledge and resources to lead them on a career pathway, the trainees to be exposed to all facets of the business, inclusive of the\u00a0<\/span>buddy-system with the well-experienced workers, understanding standard work procedures in the building process, standard workmanship and safety requirements which greatly enhances the learning cycle.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The training model is on workplace-based training that allows the trainees to undertake both theory classes and practical work on a live construction site. <\/p>\n

This training model has a high success rate compared to mainstream TVET training by registered training institutions under the National Training Council and DHERST (Department of Higher Education Research, Science and Technology).<\/p>\n

On Monday 15<\/span>th<\/span><\/sup> of July 2024, Minpac Group of Companies proudly organised a blood drive donation event to support both its valued employee, Late George Tipping, and the Port Moresby General Hospital\u2019s Blood Bank. <\/span><\/p>\n

This initiative reflects Minpac\u2019s commitment to the well-being of its team members and the wider community. <\/span><\/p>\n

By coming together to donate blood, employees and local residents will not only aid Late George Tipping in his time of need but also contribute to the vital reserves of the hospital\u2019s blood bank, helping to ensure that critical medical resources are readily available for those in urgent need. <\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to this vital contribution, the company donated a small office HP Printer to the hospital’s blood bank team. <\/span><\/p>\n
